2nd Friday Art Walk—Jan. 11

Ebbie Hynson

Colonial Beach Artists’ Guild presents:

Welcome in the New Year and see what all our artists have been up to! The first stop is at JarrettThor Fine Arts Gallery which will be celebrating local artist Ebbie Hynson’s birthday, she will be 93! Ms. Hynson has been painting most of her life and is still going strong even after a recent illness. So stop in and give her a hand for a job well done!

Across the street on Hawthorn St., Pottery by Hand is featuring their resident artists who are all ready to celebrate the New Year with lots of artistic pieces on sale, such as mosaics, stained glass and much more for your viewing pleasure. Local artist Andrea Clement will be exhibiting at the Riverview Inn on Hawthorn.

Going down Hawthorn, Esco Limited has reconfigured what’s old and what’s new, be sure to stop in and say hello. Right next door, Visions by Shirl is exhibiting many new pieces by her resident artists and offering a sale on handmade wind chimes. Stop by and enjoy refreshments and a celebration for the New Year.

Bundle up and come visit us. Just as a reminder, admission is always free to the public, refreshments are served and the people are friendly. Enjoy a pleasant evening at our 2nd Friday Art Walk.

Till next time – Dr. Judi Morris of Colonial Beach Artists’ Guild
