King George resident dies in Westmoreland County crash

Westmoreland County – A woman is dead following a single vehicle crash in Westmoreland County that took place Wednesday morning, February 23, 2011.  At 4:18 a.m., Virginia State Police Trooper J. L. Barrack was called to the scene on Route 3, Kings Highway, east of Route 634, Meadow Lane.

A 2001 Infiniti was traveling eastbound on Route 3, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.  The driver, Molly K. Nogrady, 20, died at the scene.  It remains under investigation whether Nogrady was  wearing her safety belt.  

The Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Office assisted during the investigation.  

Deceased Driver:  Molly K. Nogrady, 20, 6000 block of 6th Street King George, Va.
