On Saturday, July 25, at 3:20 p.m., a 2005 Pontiac G6 was traveling on Indiantown Road, Route 610 in King George, 3/10 of a mile south of route 1230 (Sherwood Forest) when it ran off the road into a ditch and overturned. According to the Virginia State Police the juvenile was ejected from the vehicle.
Jessica Ruth Gohring, 23, of King George, died at the scene. She was a passenger in the vehicle and was not wearing her safety belt.
Michael A. Gohring, 5, of King George, Va, was flown to INOVA Fairfax Hospital where he later died. He was also not wearing a safety belt. The driver, Laura Grandilli, 23, of Bronx, NY was also injured.
Trooper T.D. Green is investigating this motor vehicle crash.
The accident is still under investigation. No charges have been filed at this time.
