EXIT Realty Expertise receives Fredericksburg Chamber Goodwill Award

Three outstanding businesses of the Fredericksburg Regional Chamber of Commerce have won the 2012 Goodwill Awards in recognition of their extraordinary commitments to helping others and improving the local quality of life. EXIT Realty Expertise in King George won the award for a medium business, the first time in its eleven year history that a King George business has been recognized.
“The culture of giving back runs through our office and also comes down from Steve Morris, the Founder and President of EXIT Realty Corp. International. The EXIT Formula not only improves the lives of associates and their families, but the community too. A portion of every agent’s transaction fee is pledged to Habitat for Humanity, EXIT Realty’s charity of choice,” commented Richard Snow, Principal Broker and Owner.
Shortly after opening for business, the EXIT Realty team set to work helping the Greater Fredericksburg Habitat for Humanity build in King George County. Individual Realtors of EXIT Realty Expertise have given generously of their time to the King George Fall Festival Committee, the Autism Society, the King George Historical Society, as well as visited patients at the VA Hospital in Richmond, served as school volunteers and helped establish the King George Hall of Fame. As a business, EXIT Realty Expertise has given either through volunteering or financial support to a variety of organizations, including the King George Food Pantry and Social Services, the King George Family YMCA, the Rappahannock United Way Day of Caring and the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, to highlight several of the forty community causes and events they have proudly supported this past year.
Richard’s wife, Julia Snow, who is the Public Relations Director, notes there are many volunteer opportunities in any community and ways to contribute and make a difference. “In appreciation of people supporting our business, we in turn proudly support our community. We will continue to aspire to exemplify the meaning of the Goodwill Award and strive to inspire other businesses and individuals to do the same. It is an honor for EXIT Realty Expertise to be recognized as a business that gives back.”
