Dominion Virginia Power to Upgrade Electrical

Facilities in Dahlgren Area of King George County

Dominion Virginia Power will be doing work to improve electric service in the Dahlgren area

of King George County. To complete the work safely and expeditiously, a planned outage will

occur from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 26.

 

Customers and businesses in the following locations will be affected and are encouraged to

plan accordingly for the outage. 

  • Potomac Drive
  • Fence Road
  • 15th Street
  • Gordon Drive
  • Forrest Road
  • North Williams Creek Drive
  • Payne Drive
  • Harbor Court
  • Dahlgren Road between Potomac Drive & 14th Street
  • A small portion of 14th Street & 12th Street off Potomac Drive

 

Should inclement weather or extenuating circumstances prevent Dominion from performing the

work on July 26, it will be postponed until Sunday, July 27 at the same time.

 

Dominion Virginia Power apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates its customers’

cooperation as it continues to provide safe and reliable service to the area.
