All county schools rated fully accredited

 

Sealston listed as a Focus school
All five King George schools have been rated fully accredited by the state.

That was the news gleaned from last week’s release from the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) in its announcement on Sept. 20.

Sweetfrog is a happy place to visit

The new Dahlgren Sweetfrog frozen yogurt store with flavors like island banana, orchard cherry, outrageous orange and mountain blackberry, has only been open for a little over six months, but it is swiftly becoming the place to visit for King George residents.

Ribbon Cutting for Smoot Library

Smoot Memorial Library invites you to the Grand Reopening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony.  The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28.
