Howard Vernon “Butch” Worth Jr., 55, of King George County passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at home.
Howard was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served on the USS America. He had retired from Coleman Homes of Fredericksburg.
He loved fishing, hunting and playing the lottery.
Howard is survived by his wife, Monashey Worth, of the home; four children, Floyd Bloxton Jr. and Jennifer Dishman, both of King George, and Amanda Vogt and Joseph Worth, both of Caroline County; three sisters, Brenda J. Taylor, Kitty L. Cannon and Donna M. Worth, all of Spotsylvania County; and nine grandchildren, the love of his life and the light in his eyes.
The family received friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Monday, April 1, at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George, with a service beginning at 6 p.m.
