Joseph K. Weedon

Joseph K. Weedon, 82, of King George County passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in King George, Mr. Weedon served four years in the Army with Company C 407 Engineer Battalion in Alaska during the Korean War. Joe had retired from Lebanon Chemical Company after 30 years of service.
He is survived by a sister, Eva Honeycutt of Birmingham, Al.; a brother, Jerome Weedon of Richmond; his special nephew, James Weedon and his wife, Theresa and their children, Joshua Weedon, Katherine Wilson (Justin), all of King George who were his caregivers for the past four years.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, October 28 at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home, King George. The service will begin at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Warnick officiating at the funeral home. Interment will be held in Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to King George Fire and Rescue, 8122 Kings Highway, King George, VA, 22485.
