Wolverines cruise past Foxes in 4A State softball

On Friday, at Liberty University, Kamphius Field Stadium, in Lynchburg, VA, the road to a potential 4A State Softball Championship ended for King George (18-4), at the hands of eventual state champion, Woodgrove (24-1).

Foxes tread playoff road to State 4A semifinals

For the second time in four years King George (17-3) will be playing in the Group 4A State softball championship. After a few bumps early in the season against triple-A power Brooke Point, the Foxes have rebounded with a 15-game winning streak, a Conference 19 title, a regional 4A east championship appearance, and 4A state championship berth.

Foxes girls JV soccer ends season in championship thriller

Last Thursday’s girls junior varsity championship game, featuring King George (12-2) and Courtland (13-2) was nothing less than a barn-burning thriller.

King George girls’ triumphant in Chancellor quad meet

Foxes Hannah Koepfinger finished first twice in individual events to lead the King George High School Foxes Foxes to a quad meet win over Chancellor, Riverbend and Massaponax. Koepfinger finished first in the 300-meter hurdles (48:46), and etriple jump (32’8.50”). After running the anchor leg, Koepfinger helped the 4x800-meter relay team (Aubrey Wingeart, Cori French, Brooke West, Koepfinger) place first with a time of 10:46.37.
