KGMS Foxes host five team Great Fox Chase Invitational

On Saturday, at King George Middle School (KGMS), the Foxes boys finished atop a five team format with 312 points. As for their lady counterparts, the Foxes girls finished in second place (165 points), Walker Grant placed first for the girls with 224 points. “On a sunny and perfect day, both boys and girls teams rose to the challenge and performed to their best,” KGMS track & field head coach Cathy Binder said. “I can’t thank enough of the parents, and high school student that helped us make the meet an enjoyable experience by all.

The Foxes boys dominated the field with first place performances from future high

school stars that include: Tre Stewart (100 meters), Jacob Hankla (200 meters, 400 meters), Chas Parker (100 meters), 4x100, 4x400, and 4x800 meter relay teams, Brian Greeley (high jump), Jonathan Whitener (discus).

As for the Foxes girls, they also provided the crowd with a litany of standout performances that include placements in the following events: Ce Ce Staton (shot put & discus), Madi Koban (high jump), Raven Dudley (high jump), Briana Scott  (long jump), Raven Fosburg (long jump), Jonnae Usher (100 meters), Raven Fosburg (100 meters), Joannae User (200 meters), Kalia Tibba (200 meters), Raven Fosburgh (400 meters), Madi Koban (800 meters), Dalizsa Bullet (800 meters), Logan Howard (800 meters), Logan Howard (1600 meters), Madi Koban (1600 meters), Raven Dudley (100 meters hurdles), Madi Koban (100 meters hurdles), Clara Snow (100 meters hurdles), Sara Hall (triple jump), Amy Neel (triple jump), Kalia Tibba (shot put), Sarah Hall (long jump).
Team scores: girls: Walker Grant (224), KGMS (165), Post Oak Middle School (58), Northumberland (18), King George Elementary (15).

Team scores: boys: KGMS (312), Walker Grant (104.5), Northumberland MS (78.5), King George Elementary (2).
