Thrilled with her team’s performances, Foxes head cross-country coach Cathy Binder said, “What can you say about a group of athletes (varsity, junior varsity) that stepped up to the line and ran their best times of the season, and careers. There were so many personal bests—the team, boys and girls seem to rise to the level of their competition, and in the big meet do very well. With districts and regional’s ahead, I hope the trend continues.”
On Wednesday, the annual Battlefield District Cross-Country Tournament will take place in Culpeper. The meet will begin at 3:30 p.m.
