King George volleyball ascends to the collegiate level

The Foxes volleyball program just elevated its court skills to a new level. On June 17-19, in the King George High School gymnasium, new University of Mary Washington head volleyball coach, Matt Troy and his staff reintroduced college level volleyball to 47 area high school volleyball players, from eight different schools - King George, Colonial Forge, Courtland, Chancellor, Faith Baptist, Fredericksburg Christian, Riverbend and North Stafford.

Foxes softball completes season in State semi-finals

They are the pride of King George! Although the Foxes lost to the eventual VHSL Group AA Softball champion, Cave Spring (24-4) 7-1, they will always be remembered as heroes. The atmosphere around King George is nothing short of electric. With the Foxes varsity softball team entering the VHSL State Championship playoff for the first time in the school’s history, area fans are holding on to their seats. Their recent 9-5 Region I championship win over Tabb, and Region I semi-final championship victory over New Kent

Foxes softball own the Battlefield District

They came to make history. Battlefield District Coach of the Year, and King George High School varsity softball head coach Renee Parker is living on cloud nine. In less than a week, the Foxes (22-1) have defeated Culpeper (2-0) for the coveted district tournament crown, and on Monday, crushed Southside District champion, Southhampton, 10-2.

KG Speed & Conditioning Camp pushes players to the limit
