Foxes debut new stadium with win over Cougars

It was a night to remember! On Friday evening, in front of a standing room only crowd, the Foxes gave the fan faithful a sample of what they have waited for. They opened the Battlefield District regular season with a resounding 21-10 victory over the Courtland Cougars (1-3, 0-1). More importantly, the win was also the beginning of a new era in King George High School (KGHS) sports. With the long awaited debut of the new stadium, fans witnessed a once in a lifetime experience.

After spending most of his athletic career on the courts and fields associated with KGHS, Fox varsity head coach Jeff Smith is overjoyed to give Fox fans a program capable of going beyond district post-season play.
