Colonial Beach Middle School Drifter baseball report

The Colonial Beach Middle School baseball team is focused on reliving the heroics of three years ago when the team won the Northern Neck District Middle School Baseball Championship. Revisiting the Field of Dreams in Lancaster as champions is not merely a dream for new Drifter middle school baseball head coach Chase Davidson. Last season, the Drifters finished as runner-up in Northern Neck.

CB Drifters use pitching and defense to dominate

The Drifters varsity baseball team mode of operation this season is dominant pitching and defense. Last week the Drifters shut out two opponents, running their record to 6-0 thus far this season. Along with two shutout performances from their pitching staff, the Drifters also featured two error free games, as they earned wins over King & Queen and Northampton last week. “Our theme so far has been pitching and defense, but really it’s been too cold all year for bats to warm up,”

Coach Swope picks up 1,000 wins at CBHS

Torrey Smith Celebrity All-stars Basketball game a booming hit

It was an NFL hoop-to-hoops blast! On Saturday, the third annual Torrey Smith Celebrity All-Star Basketball game lived up to everyone’s expectations. CBHS Drifters varsity softball 2013 season preview
