The Eagles fell 48-28 in the game, played in the rain at King William High School.

W&L Boys fall to Galax in 1A championship

After going further in the state playoffs than any Washington and Lee High School soccer team in history, the Eagles boys varsity - for most of the season, the little team that could - could not win the 1A state championship game Saturday, losing to Galax 8 to 2 at Radford University’s Cupp Stadium.

W&L varsity girls down Northumberland in Friday night soccer

Washington & Lee High School’s Lady Eagles varsity soccer team fell behind early but came back to score a 4-1 victory over Northumberland in Friday’s district match in Montross.
