Her-icanes crowned 14U Tournament Champions

The KG Her-icanes girls softball team traveled to Marshall, Va., on July 28 to play in a one-day tournament. KG played opponents from Orange County and Northern Virginia.

In game 1, KG battled the Orange Hornets. The Her-icanes scored two runs in the first inning, as the Orange pitcher issued several walks and hit a batter, and the Orange defense committed a fielding error allowing Juliet Truslow and Anna Schram to score. The two runs were all that KG would need, as the Her-icanes played

Gummer and Chuska make national soccer spotlight
