Tappahannock shooters nabbed in Westmoreland

Anthony M. Green, 20, and Sidney A. Green, 26, were arrested today in the woods behind 129 Grainery Road, just outside Montross.  They are suspects in a shooting that took place in Tappahannock on March 9.

At approximately 2 p.m., shots were fired into a car at the Queen Street Sunoco.  Westmoreland County Sheriff’s Department, working in conjunction with the Tappahannock Police and the Virginia State Police, picked up the two Greens, who are both from Tappahannock, but are not brothers, without incident.

Each of the Greens is charged in Tappahannock with possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony, firing into an occupied vehicle, and reckless handling of a firearm, and in Westmoreland County, with possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony and possession of marijuana.
