Bradshaw incarcerated, and facing new charges

Michael R. Bradshaw Jr. has three new charges to added to his list.

Bradshaw has been incarcerated at Northern Neck Regional Jail since March 26 when he was arrested in connection with break-ins in Montross and Oldhams. Bradshaw was also suspected of other crimes

throughout the Northern Neck.

Bradshaw and an accomplice were arrested for two counts of breaking and entering in connection with the break in to two businesses. The Mexicana II Grocery/Mariachi Restaurant and Oldhams Country Store were broken into and small amounts of change from the cash registers along with cigarettes were stolen.

July 10 Bradshaw was served three more warrants in jail. Bradshaw’s current charges include two felonies; breaking and entering Grants Hill Baptist Church on Grants Hill Rd. and grand larceny. Bradshaw was also served a warrant on a misdemeanor charge of willfully and maliciously breaking window/door of a house of public worship with said damage being less than a 1000 dollars.

The break-in at Grant’s Hill Baptist Church occurred between the evening of March 8 and the early morning of March 9.

Westmoreland County Sheriff, C.O. Balkderson said that Bradshaw continues to be held at NNRJ without bond. Bradshaw’s first court appearance on his current charges will be held in Westmoreland General District Court on July 16.

Balderson said the investigation continues with other charges forthcoming but would not say what the charges are.
